Mark Wong is a 19 year old BTEC Music Technology student at Central Nottingham College who plays guitar, bass and loves a wide range of rock music including Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Mark is considered by some of his teachers to be one of the most able and dedicated students in his year. At first Mark was not interested in joining Rockhaq to write music reviews because he couldn’t see why it would be so interesting/engaging. The results have been awe-inspiring.

Sam Brookes is a 19 year old A Level English student at Regent College Leicester who loves a range of music including rap, hardcore and dubstep. Sam is considered by some of his teachers to be one of the top students in his year at college. Sam joined the Rockhaq pilot with a number of his classmates and other students from English and Media Studies teaching groups to use Rockhaq as part of student enrichment activities. Ashton Bryan is an 19 year old Creative Media Production student at Central Nottingham College who loves fashion and early 1990’s soul music. Ashton has never passed her GCSE English exam. Ashton joined the Rockhaq schools pilot with a number of her fellow classmates to use it for a class assignment. At first Ashton thought that Rockhaq was not for her as she didn’t enjoy writing. Ashton believed that she just wouldn’t use Rockhaq. The results have been outstanding.
