We’ve launched our music journalism community for schools and colleges and are kicking off activity on our Twitter and Facebook pages too.

Our music reviews community is designed to improve literacy skills, student engagement and provide a real-life media experience for school and college pupils.

To celebrate all this and to get more people into music, we’re giving away £10 HMV gift cards to our Facebook fans!

Awesome – how can I enter?

All you have to do to enter the giveaway is like us on Facebook and email us via our form below listing your name, email address and Facebook name (if it’s different from your real name).

Each time we reach 100 more likes, we’ll send out a gift card to one winner selected at random from a list of our entries upto that date, and we will contact each winner to confirm that their gift card is on the way to them.

If you already like us, you can still enter – just fill out our form and press ‘submit’. We want to keep all our loyal fans happy too.

You should probably like us on Facebook and/or follow us on Twitter if you’re a music fan, as we’ll be giving out information about free music downloads and more competitions soon. If you’re interested in the media industry as a student or teacher, we’ll be running some blog posts and tips from journalists soon. You’ll also get to find out which schools and colleges will be using Rockhaq to get kids listening to and writing about new music.

We will contact each winner by email to ask for your postal address to send your prize to and we will notify you once you prize has been posted. We will announce winners on our Rockhaq website (and link the news to Facebook) and Twitter, but we will not post winners names directly on our Facebook fan page or on the walls of our fans as this is against the Facebook promotion guidelines.
  8. By entering this competition, you are consenting to your name being posted in any winners annoucements and publicity on our website, links to our Facebook fan page or on our Twitter news feed. Your name will only be posted if you win a £10 HMV gift card.
