At first I thought this band were rubbish due to the fact that I didn’t give them a try to see what they sounded like, but then I gave Your Demise a listen and they just blew me away with what they had to show and I had to tell everyone about it. This five piece band from St Albans have many awesome guitar solos and riffs that it’s unbelieveble to even try to learn them all! They also have catchy drum beats to help woo the crowd at a concert and get them going and a top bassist that fits in well with all of this to get the audience going. Try listening to The Kids We Used To Be (below) and you will see what I mean.
The one and only Lower Than Atlantis are a great band but they are unfortunately underrated. An incredible piece act from Watford that have been going for six years, they play a hard hitting mix of punk and hardcore. Their latest album “World Record” is a brilliant, phenomenal album with influential lyrics and a fantastic sound.
“Bones” is also a song by Young Guns which was released as a single and video before their new album. This was followed by the track Brother In Arms, which was very popular with fans at the concert.
This was a mind blowing performance from the Indie rockstars Snow Patrol featuring some amazing new songs from their sixth studio album “Fallen Empires”. They gave a spectacular introduction to the night by using one of their latest tracks “Berlin” which really got the audience chomping at the bit. Throughout the concert they peformed at their total and extrordinary best.
During the show, Gary Lightbody, the lead singer of Snow Patrol accepted the request of two spectacular songs.
