What is Rockhaq?
Rockhaq is a new music reviewing blog for school and college pupils.
Rockhaq has three core strands – to boost pupil literacy skills, increase student engagement and provide music and media enrichment.
Rockhaq uses social networking and latest new music releases, concert tickets, photopasses and time with bands and artists to:
-
Develop and enhance student literacy skills
-
Enrich your school or college curriculum
-
Fit into your Music and Media BTEC, GCSE and A Level courses
-
Boost attendance by engaging and rewarding students
-
Creating a unique live learning experience
Artists to cover: Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, Kasabian, Lady Gaga, JLS, McFly, Kings Of Leon, Calvin Harris, 30 Seconds To Mars, Magnetic Man, Skepta, Chase & Status, Metallica and many more…
How does Rockhaq work?
Rockhaq uses a blog system to deliver music-related tasks to students, called Rockhaq missions.
-
After a student posts a number of blogs, they are rewarded with a Rockhaq mission to complete.
-
Rockhaq missions can include CDs, concert tickets, interview opportunities and photopasses.
-
There are different levels of mission to be won and students can be rewarded on the quality of work, number of blogs completed and school attendance.
Teachers or student leaders can administer each system for their school to any level they like; awarding badges, leaving feedback and approving posts before publishing.
Our system has easy at-a-glance options for you to customise rewards for different student achievements. And best of all – you don’t need to be an IT geek to use it.
Tune into your class and make learning live!
