Skepta Live: Photo Gallery

As we celebrate grime superstar Skepta headlining Wireless Festival 2017, and his much-deserved awesome year since winning the Mercury Prize in 2016, we’re running a special Skepta Live: Photo Gallery. These live photos were taken when we caught Skepta playing at Nottingham Rock City with Chipmunk way back in 2010. Yes, our Skepta Live: Photo Gallery this is a special throwback post, expect more of these throwback posts to come on The Rockhaq Community.

We had an top time that night and it’s been fun for us to catch up with our ‘grime roots’. King Skepta was met with the type of rapturous adulation that is usually reserved for the headline act. Sadly there was no Rolex Sweep. Nah mate, that was baaaaare peak. Thanks to our photographer Lucy Bellamy who took some super shots for us on the night. Girl done good. Let’s get ravey!
