Single Review: Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Amrita Garcha
Back in 2006 the band Panic! at the Disco released it’s first ever studio album called A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. All of the songs on this album were a great hit and fans adored them. However there was one songs that stood out the most and is still Panic’s most classic and popular song and this song is called I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
Single Review: Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies
Most people know the song by the famous intro which is played by a Cello or a harpsichord. Even though Panic! at the Disco is mostly famous in the USA this single still became a hit in other parts of the world which caused this song to reach the charts. In the UK it ended up as No. 25 in the UK Singles Chart. Also I Write Sins Not Tragedies reached number 7 on the United States Billboard Hot 100.
A song from Panic that everyone can enjoy
The reason why I like the song I Write Sins Not Tragedies is because it is so catchy. If you listen to this record only once you find yourself singing it all the time. As well as that it is one of the songs from Panic! at the Disco that everyone can enjoy. My favourite lyric out of the whole song is “Haven’t you people ever heard of closing the god-damn door?!”. For some reason this is a lot of fans favourite lyric because it makes them laugh but the reason for me besides being funny is that it kind of has no use in the song and is just there.
The songs I Write Sins Not Tragedies (or I Write Sins for short) is still one of Panic! at the Disco’s popular songs and is the bands most played song on the radio. The reason why it might be a big hit is because of the classic lyrics in this song or because it is from the bands first album. However the real reason why it is such a big hit is because fans enjoy the song for what it is and even haters of Panic! at the Disco still enjoy this song.
