Music: Response did not qualify for an official chart place as it contained five songs instead of three, but as it followed the storming singles ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’, ‘Let Forever Be’ and ‘Out of Control’, it was generally accepted that the Surrender album had already achieved considerable success.

Surrender was certified double platinum by the BPI in 2005.
